Following the most recent report from the BLS, Rhode Island unemployment has remained unchanged. While jobs in Rhode Island continue to be added, other companies are still terminating workers, which accounts for the stagnant unemployment rate. The jobless rate in Rhode Island is 10.9%, higher than the national average.
